THE CHAKRA SYSTEM
Most people that work as energy workers will mainly work with the seven main chakras within their healing practice. The chart shows their position in relation to the physical body and the colour associated with each chakra.
Each chakra relates to certain areas and organs of the body, and also to the different emotions. As a group we work with the 10 chakra system which includes more newly emerged transpersonal chakras.
As we go through our daily life we have both positive and negative experiences that will affect our energy system. All negative emotions, experiences will have a negative effect on our chakras and aura creating energy blockages initially, and these will over time if not dealt with, filter through to the physical body causing dis-ease.
The Earth Star Chakra is situated 6” to 8” below the feet. This very important centre grounds us down into this physical incarnation and is vital to our well being. Colours: Earthy Tones.
The Base Chakra is situated at the base of the spine and is connected to our survival, grounding, security and position in life. Colour: Red.
The Sacral Chakra is situated just below the navel, and is connected to the emotions and to sexual energy. Colour: Orange.
The Solar Plexus Chakra is situated just below the sternum and is connected to our intellect, our self worth and personal power. Colour: Yellow.
The Heart Chakra is situated near the physical heart area and is connected to the giving and receiving of love, balance, compassion and forgiveness. Colours: Two colours are connected to the Heart Chakra, Pink for love and compassion, and Green for Balance.
The Thymus Chakra is situated slightly up and to the right of the heart centre and is one of the newly emerged transpersonal chakras. This chakra is situated between the heart and throat chakra and is connected to voicing our true feelings. Colour: Turquoise.
The Throat Chakra is situated at the base of the throat and is connected to communication and the freedom to speak our truth to the world, express our feelings and desires. Colour: Sky Blue.
The Brow Chakra is situated between the eyes and is connected to our imagination, intuition, insight and our perception beyond duality. Colour: Indigo Blue.
The Crown Chakra is situated just above the top of the head and is connected to the unification of the higher self with the personality, universal consciousness and a higher knowing. Colour: Violet.
The Zeal Point Chakra is situated at the back of the neck at the base of the skull and is a newly emerged transpersonal chakras. This chakra works more on a transpersonal level at the soul level and connects to the Soul Star Chakra which is situated above the crown centre. Colour: Magenta infused with white.
